Welcome to the Eminence Area Chamber of Commerce

"Eminence Scenic Rivers Run" website!

Our intent is to expose you to some of the best riding in the Ozarks.  Historic Highway 19 has been chosen #38 by the AMA in their list of best rides in America, and you'll have plenty of time to ride it.

Wednesday the 10th, registration will begin at Shady Lane Cabins on Highway 19 in Eminence.  There will be a $10.00 per person registration fee, which will get you three nights of music, route sheets and schedules, as well as a list of discounts from many of our local businesses.  This is your day to settle in your room or campground and get to know the town.

Thursday and Friday there will be guided and self-guided tours of the area, where you can visit parks that feature springs producing millions of gallons of water daily.  We suggest that you spend one day riding, and one day on one of our beautiful rivers.  Local Canoe Outfitters can pick you up and arrange everything.

Thursday evening there will be a patriotic tribute to the victims of 9/11.  We'll have music on the courthouse lawn right in the middle of town, with several restaurants within an easy stroll.

Friday evening there will be music at the pavilion next to the river at the Old City Ballpark on Highway 106.  There will be food and other vendors there.

Saturday will feature a Poker Run to benefit the American Cancer Society.  We've worked out a route that will take you to some of the more scenic spots in the area, and end up back at the park for more music and fun.

Sunday morning, any of our area churches would welcome you, and we will be having a non-denominational prayer breakfast at the park.

Our evenings will wrap up around 9:00 pm.  For night owls, several local establishments are preparing to show you a good time.

We hope to have many vendors to help us make this a fun experience, and intend to make it a yearly event.  If you would like to inquire about setting up a booth, you can call Sharon at (573) 226-5944.
